2. WCAG 2.1 compliance status
The website pozabankiem.pl is partially compliant Partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, due to the non-conformances listed in section 4.
This statement was prepared on the basis of a self-assessment carried out by the publishing entity.
3. Accessibility measures implemented
The Service uses valid HTML5 markup (header, nav, main, footer, article, section) providing a clear structure for screen readers.
Navigation elements, dialogs, and forms have aria-label, aria-expanded, aria-current attributes and roles compliant with the WAI-ARIA 1.2 specification.
Primary text on a white background: contrast ratio ≥ 7:1 (AA+). Secondary (muted) text: ≥ 4.5:1 (AA). Gold elements on a navy background: ≥ 4.5:1.
All interactive elements are accessible using the keyboard (Tab, Enter, Space, arrow keys). Visible focus indicator on interactive elements.
Every page includes a „Skip to content” (skip link) allowing users to bypass navigation and go directly to the main content of the page.
The Service is fully responsive — it displays correctly on mobile devices, tablets, and desktops. Tested at resolutions from 320 px to 1920 px.
Decorative icons have the aria-hidden="true" attribute. Graphic elements conveying content have an alt attribute with a description.
Form fields have correct labels or aria-label descriptions. Validation error messages are descriptive and identify the specific field.
The lang attribute is set correctly on every page (lang="pl" for the Polish version, lang="en" for this English version, and so on). Foreign-language elements (e.g. English terms on the Polish site) do not require separate marking given how widely they are used.
Text can be enlarged up to 200% without loss of content or functionality. Font sizes are defined in relative units (rem, em, clamp).
4. Known limitations and inaccessible content
Listed below are the known areas where the Service does not fully meet the WCAG 2.1 AA requirements, together with planned remedial actions:
4.1. PDF documents
Issue: The Service may contain links to PDF documents (e.g. sample contracts, product information) that have not been tagged in a way that ensures full accessibility for screen readers.
Remedial plan: All new PDF documents will be created in accordance with the PDF/UA guidelines. Existing documents will be provided in accessible versions by 31 December 2026.
4.2. Video and audio content
Issue: The Service currently does not contain any video or audio materials. Should any be added, video files will include extended captions and audio description in accordance with WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.2.
Status: Not applicable (no multimedia content).
4.3. Graphics and charts
Issue: Some decorative graphics have an empty alt="" attribute (correctly marking them as decorative). Graphics presenting data (if added) require a text equivalent.
Status: There are currently no data graphics requiring an alternative description.
4.4. Maps and external widgets
Issue: If the Service embeds Google Maps or other external widgets, they may not meet all WCAG 2.1 AA criteria due to technical limitations of third parties.
Alternative: The registered office address is provided in text form in the footer of every page.
